Caprese Salad, Pepperoni, Mini Pizza, Black Olive, Tiramisu Mushroom, Apricot, Brie Wedge


I found some “Orowheat Sandwich Thins” at the grocery store the other day and decided to pick them up to try some new things. (I had used the multigrain for sandwiches when they first came out but prefer regular multigrain bread.)

This time I saw the whole wheat which looked a little less dense so I figured I’d give these another try.

Having gotten a great toaster-oven/rotisserie for Christmas I chose to use the sandwich thins for mini pizza and bake them in the toaster oven.

You have to try this! Whole wheat sandwich thins, basic tomato sauce (homemade or jar), your favorite veggies and/or meats (mine has mushrooms & pepperoni), some shredded mozzarella, and fresh basil. Pop them in the oven till the cheese is lightly browned and bubbly. Yum, yum, yum! These are great!!!

Into the bento they went along with a caprese salad made of fresh basil, quartered cherub tomatoes, mini mozzarella balls, salt & pepper. Rounding out this Ideal Meal is pepperoni, brie, an apricot, and a tiramisu mushroom and black olive to fill space.

This box went into the Sachi Plaid Bag along with a package of Pretz to dip into the brie and a Diet Wild Cherry Pepsi.
