Inari Packets (6)

Inari filled with spicy ground beef, rice-stuffed inari packets, tomato balloons, pineapple and blackberries. Sauces for inari packets include sriracha, bulldog sauce, and wasabi mayo.

I was at our new international market the other day and found so many great things to try including some inari-zushi. Inari are basically fried tofu packets that are usually stuffed with rice but I decided to try something different.

I took the inari and warmed them slightly then filled them with a ground beef mixture. (Ground beef mixed with scallions, sriracha, soy sauce, and ginger) The beef inari are served open though I also made some smaller packets filled with sushi rice.

I added some fruit, shortbread cookies, chamomile tea, as well as assorted sauces for dipping.
With everything tucked into a simple plaid lunch tote I have today’s Ideal Meal.
