Spaghetti & Meatballs (3)

Spaghetti Nest w/chopped tomato, meatballs, Quail Egg, Tiramisu Mushroom, Milk Chocolate Bear, Olive Pick, and Steamed Broccoli

My daughter starts back to school today so we made my lunch while making her requested spaghetti and meatballs for dinner last night. (A rare but much-loved treat for her.)

I make pasta nests out of leftover pasta by twisting the pasta with a fork and placing a rather full fork-full into a silicone muffin cup. A whole tray of these can go into the freezer and, once frozen, they pop right out for easy bag or bowl storage until needed for a quick meal.

To celebrate my daughter’s return to school we did add a few touches of cuteness with the broccoli trees, tiramisu mushroom, and a little chocolate bear. I’m so lucky to have a sixteen-year-old excited to get back to school!

Today’s bento was put into the Sachi Red Plaid lunch bag with water, crystal light lemonade mix, and a packet of parmesan cheese.

What a great combination to make today’s Ideal Meal.
