Taco Salad (2)

Seasoned ground beef w/black olives, Lettuce, Tomato, Broken Shells, Taco Sauce (in mini container), Shredded Cheese, and Sour Cream.

Mmmm – DIY Taco salad.

Lunch today consists of leftovers from our taco dinner last night. I used a laptop lunch kit with red containers to keep all items separate until ready to assemble my taco salad at lunchtime.

I try to limit my soda intake to one per day and I knew the work day would be very busy so I carried it with me. This kept me from making the walk to the convenience store for a 44 oz soda rather than the 12 oz. 🙂

I also added a bottle of water and navel orange. Everything went into the polka-dot Sachi lunch tote.

Pretty good balance of protein, veg, and low-fat dairy. This is today’s Ideal Meal.

  1. Hi! Welcome to bento making and I love your catch phrase “Ideal Meal”. Very cool. I know what you mean about soda. I had a terrible time quitting.

      I’m still working on the soda issue but have changed to diet and try to limit myself to (at-most) one daily. The only problem is that sometimes my one is is a big “drink your way out of the cup” size. 😉
